Ish is a personal assistant.

Program description

The Ish SMS assistant serves customers who opt in using their verified mobile number. You text Ish with a request and Ish replies by SMS to help — asking clarifying questions, confirming details, and following up. Messages include conversational replies, reminders, and updates you request. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

During phone setup, selecting Send code or Resend code requests one verification text from Ish. Verification texts establish control of your number; they do not enroll you in the optional assistant SMS program.

Opt-in & consent

Start at ish.support/sign-up, save your account credentials and verify your email, then enter your mobile number and request a one-time verification text. By selecting Verify and continue with a correct code, you agree Ish can text you about your work. Requesting a code alone does not enroll you in ongoing texts. In User Settings, the separate SMS consent checkbox starts unchecked when linking or changing a number. You can manage messaging there or reply STOP to opt out. Initial phone verification follows email verification and completes signup; later settings require sign-in. Each household receives an assigned Ish number for its conversations.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

Message frequency depends on your conversations and the reminders and updates you request. Your wireless provider determines messaging and data charges. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Help, cancellation, and resubscription

Reply HELP to your Ish number for help, or email jackie@ish.support. Reply STOP to that number to stop assistant text messages. After opting out, an existing customer can reply START to the same assigned Ish number to resubscribe and receive a confirmation. START does not create an Ish account.

You may receive a confirmation of your opt-out. Assistant messages remain stopped unless you choose to resubscribe. You can continue using the web app after opting out of assistant texts.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
